Wax Burners

Salt lamps are natural ion generators, emitting negative ions into the atmosphere.

Why is this a good thing? Negative ions are good for you!

Negative ions restore and neutralise air quality and can be used to treat illness and improve health. Our homes and offices are filled with electrical appliances and electronics (televisions, computers, florescent lighting, microwaves, heaters, air-conditioners, etc.).

Use of such devices have been blamed for lowering our energy levels, making us feel tired, cranky, and depressed because of their emissions of positive ions. Keeping a salt lamp in areas where positive ions are polluting your air space will help neutralise the air you breathe. Balancing positive and negative ions may also help reduce airborne infections.

Generally speaking, negative ions increase the flow of oxygen to the brain; resulting in higher alertness, decreased drowsiness, and more mental energy,” says Pierce J. Howard, PhD, author of The Owner’s Manual for the Brain: Everyday Applications from Mind Brain Research. He goes onto say “They also may protect against germs in the air, resulting in decreased irritation due to inhaling various particles that make you sneeze, cough, or have a throat irritation.”

And for a whopping one in three of us who are sensitive to their effects, negative ions can make us feel like we are walking on air.

Salt lamps have been known to give relief from hay fever, sinus problems, bronchitis, allergies, asthma attacks and respiratory disorders. They are suitable for daily use near televisions and computers, around smokers, in offices, in therapy rooms to promote relaxation and healing. Basically anywhere there is a desire to restore or preserve the natural air quality.

Himalayan Salt Lamp Burners

Himalayan salt lamp burners have been proven to benefit health through improved air quality, and so may benefit breathing, sleeping, asthma & stress. When warmed the salt saturates the air with emitted negative ions, thus reducing the amount of positive ions produced from today's computers and many electrical appliances.

How To Use

  • Place a wax melt inside the bowl of the warmer. Light the wick of a tea light candle which is included (The Christer Collection only use Eco Soy wax) and place it in the salt lamp warmer in the area beneath the bowl.
  • Always blow out the wick on the tea light candle when you are finished using the warmer. When fragrance is no longer being released, allow the wax to cool prior to removing.

To Remove Wax

  • Pop wax out of warmer bowl, if needed use a blunt wood or rubber tool to push the wax from the bowl.
  • DO NOT use abrasive cleaners or equipment that will scratch the warmer bowl.
  • Dispose of wax in a bin. DO NOT place wax down a drain.

Electric Wax Melt Warmers

Electric wax melt warmers are a clean, safe, silent and effective way of filling your room with The Christer Collections signature aromas. A self regulating temperature gently allows the wax to warm and not burn.

How To Use

  • Break off 1 or 2 wax melts and place in the centre of a clean and empty warmer bowl.
  • Plug the electric wax warmer into the wall socket. Flip the switch on the warmer (this will give an orange glow when the warmer is on).
  • Once the wax melt has started to melt you should start to smell our signature aroma’s from your Electric / Oil burner.
  • When fragrance is no longer being released, turn off the wax warmer and allow the wax to cool prior to removing.

WARNING – To prevent injury keep out of reach of children and pets. Use within sight. Hot wax can cause burn injury. Do not touch hot wax. Wax can remain hot for several minutes after the warmer is no longer in use. Allow wax to harden before touching or handling. To avoid splatter, smoke or flame, do not add water or oils to the wax.
